Wait, historians don't deal with archeology? That's an odd claim to make. I mean, I don't personally collaborate with archeologists, but then I study the past fifty years. The farther back you go, the more overlap between the fields there is. My pal the colonialist - I mean, she studies early Canada, not that she's conquering anyone - she hangs out with archeologists all the time, goes to their conferences and everything.
