Did you ever hear that apocryphal Monty Pythonecdote about John Cleese spending hours at a story meeting insisting that his story about returning a toaster was funny, and it just wasn't working for anyone else, until Graham Chapman (who'd been lying on a sofa with a hangover or something) said, "oh, for god's sake, just make it a parrot."

Also sorry that you have a cold. You know, I remember another time - this was a couple of winters back, I think, when you were running the opposite of a fever and claimed to be dead & cooling off slowly. So at least you're consistent. AND, if the cooling process really did start a year or two again, at least it is progressing very very slowly. But ... I do hope you're feeling better soon.
