In case you don't want to wade through the fouteen updates and 180 comments on the first post I made about The Great LiveJournal Purge of '07, here's what it shakes out as:

These individual users are members of fannish communities and in some cases survivors of rape and/or incest, and their livejournals appear not to have condoned or encouraged child abuse, but they had their journals suspended anyway:

[livejournal.com profile] yaoi_slut
[livejournal.com profile] lynntownsend
[livejournal.com profile] onewavebreaks
[livejournal.com profile] malakijr
[livejournal.com profile] athena2693
[livejournal.com profile] pushtyber
[livejournal.com profile] joeykaiba
[livejournal.com profile] omg_a_terrorist

These journals were used as character journals in on-line roleplaying games, and were suspended despite containing no references to anything outside the parameters of a game:

[livejournal.com profile] boot2thehead
[livejournal.com profile] seventhsnake
[livejournal.com profile] ogata

These were journals in which fan writers posted and discussed fan fiction and art, including pornographic fan fictions, which were suspended:

[livejournal.com profile] wonkaslash
[livejournal.com profile] artsnarry
[livejournal.com profile] afamilyaffair
[livejournal.com profile] sbrb_blackcest
[livejournal.com profile] pornish_pixies
[livejournal.com profile] master_badtouch
[livejournal.com profile] gimmehellopro
[livejournal.com profile] riddle_torture
[livejournal.com profile] razorblade_jinx

This journal was used by a community of Spanish speakers to discuss the Nabokov novel Lolita:

[livejournal.com profile] lolita07

Two users that I know of report having the word "yuri" removed from their interests lists.

Seven Livejournal communities (all sites for the discussion and archiving of fan fiction) that I know of were deleted by their moderators in order to avoid the purge. Another five may belong on this list but their moderators have not said why they deleted their communities yesterday or today.

If you know of any individual or community within Livejournal that belongs on any of these lists, please comment below.

For more details, see my previous post on this topic.

Thank you, sugar. This is the sort of careful, detail-oriented, dispassionate analysis that our disciline is good for. You do us proud.

Thanks, sweetie. Parts of this were quite sick-making, because so personal. So hard not to just keep "I'm not THEM!" about some of the purged communities and journals. But yeah, it's important to just keep track, y'know?

Oh, yeah, you know.

This post does not seem to include the shota community. While I can see that is something many people would find disgusting, it is still a community dedicated to art and stories of fully *fictional* characters.

I'm sorry to say that I don't know what the word shota means. Was [livejournal.com profile] shota a fanfiction/fan-art community? What fandom? I left orig-fic communities off the list here because to me, that's closer to a grey area. But if it's a fannish community I regret the omission and will add it to the list.

Shota is anime related term which basically means material with fictional underaged boys involved in sexual situations. I would say it was definitely a fan community, even if it was not just fans of specific series, but of a whole genre. It is also not really a grey area, seeing as shota is not even remotely about *real* children.

OK... More than 12 hours later, some of the individuals/communities are still suspended. Is there anything that we can do? Shall we do anything?

Barak's latest post (on ljnews seems) to indicate that they've now reinstated all the journals that they feel did not "clearly violate" community policies. I suppose that means that they do not intend to reinstate any others?

Yep. I'm asking about that on my LJ:
