And coincidentally good timing. Someone was just asking me the other day if I knew any academics who write/write about fanfic and I thought of you. I don't know much at all about the book project they are connected to, but if you're interested in more details, I can pass your name along...

Well ... I try to keep my actual academic persona and my fic-writing persona separate, which is tricky since I do write about fans myself. But if this person is interested in finding aca-fans more generally and you haven't mentioned that I'm a fanfic writer, sure, pass them my rl contact info - which I think you have, right? but not the lolaraincoat name, please. Does that make sense?

Tricky, yes, I see. And totally understand. I did not give the lolaraincoat name, seeing as how it would mean exactly nothing to the uninitiated (lj is convenient for that, no?). But I shall pass along the rl contact deets.
