Yikes we're going to Greece and then Turkey and I still haven't packed and the house is a mess and I'll miss you all like mad but will be back in two weeks goodbye!

You can always make a Photobucket or Flickr account; the latter is particularly easy to upload to, and then you paste in the url. Or with photobucket (which partners with LJ in some fashion, I guess) you click on "insert image" in the post box on LJ, and click on the Photobucket tab there. It opens all your images on photobucket, and you select the one you want inserted. They put in the html code for the image automatically. Easy-peasy.
